In 2014, a Daily Mail article published that Mothers gets just 17 minutes of ‘me time’ to themselves each day after completing many of the household chores and parental duties. Mum Time was established in 2015 to allow mums a place to escape the daily grind to a place that is solely dedicated to MUMS.

Every Wednesday on 9Life my (teen) daughter and I escape to the bedroom to escape to France for 1 hour. Escape to the Chateau is seriously a binge watch program watching Dick and Angel Strawbridge transform their 45 room French chateau into a beautiful home. It seriously makes you want to up sticks and head overseas to do the same. And the best news is that they have just announced another season which hopefully will come to Australia at some point. Let’s talk hats! I love them but you need the perfect event to head to wearing one. I’d feel like an absolute plonker heading to the local Westfield with an accompanying felt hat. I bought this one recently in the @davidjonesstore sales. It’s a Milana (Italian brand) and has a divine leather piece around the top.
