Out on the wiley, windy moors
We’d roll and fall in green
You had a temper like my jealousy
Too hot, too greedy
How could you leave me
When I needed to possess you?
I hated you, I loved you, too
We’d roll and fall in green
You had a temper like my jealousy
Too hot, too greedy
How could you leave me
When I needed to possess you?
I hated you, I loved you, too
If you continued to sing along to the Kate Bush classic Wuthering Heights you probably don’t need to be reminded that tomorrow is the annual ‘Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever’. A day where Kate Bush fans congregate in a common place to dance in unison to her song Wuthering Heights.
Kate’s fans young, old and all genders are invited to don a red billowy dress, a red flower, and a black sash and recreate the 1978 classic in the scheduled location in your area. Thousands of people around the world head to windy moors each year to pay tribute to this iconic songstress.
The annual event that is circled on every Kate Bush fan’s calendar stems from Shambush’s The Ultimate Kate Bush Experience which set an unofficial world record for the most people dressed as Kate Bush in one place in Brighton UK in 2013.
Australia has now jumped on the Kate Bush bandwagon and set it’s own events around the country which people can attend to be involved in their own little tribute to Kate Bush and Wuthering Heights.
The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever will take place on Saturday 13th July in the following locations.
